On Sunday we met up with local friends in a village near the Tour de France route and biked (kids on the back) up to a good viewpoint at Farthing Common to watch the tour speed past.The sun shone, Kent looked amazing, people turned out in their hundreds and we all had a lovely afternoon. Yes, it was over in a flash but it was really cool to see the tour for the first time 'live'.
